How Does It Work?
Glad you asked! It's pretty simple, really.
- You sign up for a free account.
- You submit your link.
- If your link is accepted (ie. isn't spam or a money grab) it is entered into the link queue.
- You receive emails periodically containing links that other users have submitted.
- You vote up the articles you like, spreading around the digital karma.
What is the point of this site?
The user-submitted news sites are controlled by very few users. This puts relatively new submitters to the sites at a severe disadvantage when trying to get their content noticed; it usually languishes in the "upcoming links" section getting a handful of votes while the front page promotes whatever the "professional submitters" would like.
We hope to restore a little balance.

Not really. This site isn't about self-promotion, it is just a logical extension to behavior already promoted by user-submitted news sites.
We set a limit to the number of people we send any one link to. The point isn't to get each and every link to the front pages, but to get stories over the ignorance hump and give them exposure so that site users see them. We obviously can't guarantee that every person we email will vote, but we hope that they will show those links the same regard they would like their own links shown.
What are your submission guidelines?
Each submitter can only upload one link every two days. Each link will go through a review to make sure it isn't spam, an affiliate link dump, or blatantly crappy.
Won't the news sites figure out what's going on?
Probably if we get popular enough, but the sites encourage you to get your friends to vote for your articles. Just think of our users as friends you don't know yet.
